Ornamental Pepper, Midnight Fire

Midnight Fire Ornamental Pepper is primarily grown for its highly ornamental fruit. The fruits are showy deep purple peppers which fade to cherry red over time, which are carried in abundance from mid summer to mid fall. Its attractive glossy pointy leaves emerge green in spring, turning black in color throughout the season. It features subtle lilac purple star-shaped flowers dangling from the stems from late spring to mid summer.

Adds a great pop of color and unique texture to mixed containers and fall annual beds. Use them as bedding plants in the garden or plant them in pots so you can enjoy them on sunny decks and patios.
